My Carseat Misuse

Seat on the left:

The obvious problem here is that it looks like we took Johannah's head off and just set it in the carseat. The poor thing looks miserable. At least we TRIED to use a rolled up blanket (just wish we knew how to properly). There's also the fact her harness is too loose.

Seat on the right:

Here the baby has a headrest, which isn't approved for the seat. His harness is too loose and the chest clip is low.

Seat on the right:

One: the harness is off the shoulder.

The other: the use of the pad insert. It made the seat look more comfy, but was dangerous. I'm not completely sure if this was awful, but the toy is attached to the seat.

Here's a better picture of the padding. It was adorable, but dangerous (wish I had known that then!). (Laura was just sitting in her seat here, we weren't anywhere near the car or even off the floor!)
Here is Laura at about 11 months. She was still rear facing! But she was in a THICK coat. You can see how the straps just don't fit her snug.
Here is Laura forward facing on her first birthday. As you can see the harness isn't in the top slots. I know the seat was in tight though! It wouldn't budge!
